Maintenance records and its effects on the saleability of a used car

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Buy and sell of used cars is a great business during these times.  In a time when finances are tight for a lot of people it will grow bigger.More and more people need to sell the cars that they can’t maintain. While people looking to buy a car will choose a used one instead of a new one.Maintenance records are now important in the information age.The main reason would be because used car records can be easily seen.Cars that has been taken good care of will fetch more money. That is why it is very important for you to maintain your cars well.

You may have seen those commercials where a buyer is demanding to look at the cars maintenance records. That is not so surprising. As more people get to know about this service they may want to avail of it too.So if you have plans on selling your car then you better keep good records. Whenever I service any client at my auto repair San Diego shop I make sure they always get a record of their service. You would be surprised at how many clients doen’t think this is important.

It is very important.  For example with stricter smog laws you don’t want a car that hasn’t been maintained well.  I get cars in all the time while checking them at my smog test San Diego shop who fail because of improper maintenance. Cars that are get regular tuneups are usually the cars that can pass those smog tests.  Cars that have been neglected are the ones that fail.

It also applies to the brakes.Minor brake jobs will turn into major expensive brake problems if you don’t maintain your brakes.  Just by doing regular maintenance for my clients at my San Diego brakes service I have been able to save them hundreds if not thousands on extra expenses. And it might also save your and others lives by taking care of these brakes.

So in this information age where records are easily kept and viewed you must make sure to keep records of all the services your car has gone through. It might be able to help you in the future.

Advertising to make more profits

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

In today’s world, all businesses are looking for any method to help them survive. To make it happen you are going to have to take action. You can’t be reactive, you are going to have to be proactive.

The businesses that will fail are the ones that run and hide. You know the ones. The ones that think that they don’t have the money to advertise. It is companies such as that who will fail.  Because in this economy, businesses can’t afford not to advertise.

For those that get it and know they have to advertise to survive follow this method. This method is to use outdoor media, namely mobile billboards.  In the process of running my mobile billboards San Diego company I have seen many companies benefit from this.

Why advertising through mobile billboards?Because the customer is now more picky than ever in where they are going to spend their money. But not just that, most consumers can turn off all forms of advertising. They can fast forward commercials. They are able to subscribe to satellite radio and receive no ads. They pretty much are able to live without commercials.

But with using mobile billboards or San Diego truck advertising that I like to use, consumers can’t avoid the ads. Truck advertising is with them in traffic.  It is right in front of them.It is on the side of them.Their attention is grabbed by the ad. With a gorgeously made ad, it has the effect of branding your business in your consumer’s mind.

Unlike other forms of advertising, this can’t be tuned out. So you are most definitely going to get impressions.  You are guaranteed to have the consumer see your business and brand.  Compared to other forms of advertising it is much cheaper.  Mobile billboard prices are worth it in terms of getting seen by the consumer.

So if you are trying to survive, give truck advertising a try.For your marketing dollars, there is none better. It’s going to give your more exposure.  Your customers will remember you.  You will make more sales.

Mobile Billboards Advertising and it’s benefits

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

What are mobile billboards?Well I am sure most of you have an idea what a regular billboard is, well a mobile billboard is the same almost, except that it is moving.

You can find it in it’s various forms.  You can see it in San Diego truck advertising, or vehicles built specifically to carry billboards around.

Why are people using this form of medium to get their message or brand across?  I have some unique insights I am going to share that I have gained from running my own mobile billboards San Diego company.

First off, let’s talk about it’s expenses.  Mobile billboards prices are actually very comparable if not better than your traditional outdoor media such as traditional billboards.

With its rates being very cheap comparably if not better, there is something else that tilts it in it’s favor.Actual views, exposures, or impressions to the prospects.

Compared to the usual billboards out there, that a prospect could just pass it by without even looking.  But the way a mobile billboard displays it’s message, it is more effective. And the way it is able to do that is by being in the consumer’s face. You can’t just pass it by.It is stuck with you in traffic right at eye level

This is very powerful.A prospect who is caught in traffic with an advertisement staring at them in the face can’t be turned off.

That is one of the obstacles that TV and Radio face as traditional forms of advertising. With the invention of satellite radio and Tivo, a prospect could practically go without commercials.

So opting to go with mobile billboards gives the advertiser the ability to have their message read and impressed upon the consumer’s mind.

If you want to build brand recognition as a business, there aren’t too many better ways to display your ad than by showing it in beautiful color as a full color display ad.It speaks loudly for attention. And when your prospect doesn’t have anything else to do in traffic, you really don’t need to scream as loud as other forms of advertising.

With a lot of businesses struggling because of the economy, using mobile ads might be just the trick they need to save their business.More customers and more leads are going to come based on this form of advertising.

You are guaranteed exposure. You are pretty much guaranteed to getting your message read and heard. What else could an advertiser want.

You can see that it is working by the sheer number of many more businesses using it to advertise. In 2004 by itself, there was more than $5.8 billion spent on this form of advertsing.  With all that money being spent, it must be working.

So for many businesses looking for more ways to find customers, this might just be what they are looking for.

Final Expense Insurance – A Great Plan For My Future

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

Now that I’ve retired I’ve shifted my focus as well.  For many, many years now, I’ve poured my money into a 401K to prepare myself for this day and now that this day has arrived, I’ve decided to take my financial security outlook into the future once again.

I wanted to make sure I protected my family for when it was my time to pass. The very last experience a family member should have when faced with the loss of a loved one is the additional burden of expenses, so made myself responsible for finding a way to help.

Then I found final expense insurance. And it is very much what it says it is.An insurance policy insuring that when it is my time there won’t be a large debt left weighing down my family.

I’m in good health at the moment and have a minimum of debt, yet nearly 60 years of experience has taught that there are a few curveballs still to be expected still s.As medical costs can only go upwards, even my final week or so might put a large burden on my family.

By taking out a policy for final expense insurance, I know I have them covered which puts my mind at ease.  And we’ve all seen those commercials talking about burial expenses and such but those are a bunch of malarkey.

Out of curiosity I looked into funeral prices only to find there are no recent, solid numbers to be found.  And furthermore, those insurance programs don’t offer my family the level of protection that I truly felt they deserved.Even had I chosen a burial policy or something similar what would cover my other expenses?

I think it’s fair to say that none of us know when our time has come so it’s not something that we can easily prepare for.  We can’t call up our utility company and tell them it will be ok to shut the water off on the 20th of next month as I won’t be around any longer.

I plan on breathing for quite a bit longer to be truthful.  But by taking out a line of final expense insurance, I know when my plan finally fades, my expenses won’t be rolled over and onto my loved ones.  This, by itself, means it’s some of the most valuable insurance I’ve ever carried.
