Alternative business advertising methods

It is common knowledge.  We are in a recession.All you read and hear in the news is about how bad the economy is.  You are hearing how people are spending less.  All of this is true.

But as a business owner, the money is still out there you just need to know how to go out and get it.One of the different ways you can accomplish that is by looking at alternative advertising sources.

With the tightening economy and the consumers watching their money, you want all the edges possible.  I know of a good way through my own truck advertising San Diego business.I would like to give you some of my experience I have gained through first hand knowledge.

As I had previously stated, there is still a lot of money out there.You just have to get after it and go and get it.Well how is it going to be done?You find them in several different ways.  One of those ways is mobile billboard advertising.

As I mentioned I run a San Diego mobile billboards company and from my experience clients get more exposure. Their ads will be seen by a lot more people because the way the ad is delivered.

If you aren’t familiar with a mobile billboard, they are just advertisement on wheels.  They can be trucks made specifically to be a billboard.  Or they can be a van or fleet truck that uses it sides as billboards.

Why does this method become so much more effective.  Well other mediums like TV and radio can easily be tuned out by the consumer real easily by the consumer.But a mobile billboard can be right in front of the consumer’s face.  It is right there with them in traffic.  It can’t be turned off.And just the way it is designed, if it is a bold and catchy ad, it is going to be read.

So with businesses needing to reach more of the consumers, they should seriously think about this way of advertising.It is a method that works and if the purpose is to brand your business, I don’t think there is anything better.

Comparitively the mobile billboards rates are reasonable. If you take into consideration how many people will see it daily, it is well worth the investment of your money.

Trying this way should help quite a few companies, especially when times are as tough as these.

Mobile Billboards Advertising and it’s benefits

What are mobile billboards?Well I am sure most of you have an idea what a regular billboard is, well a mobile billboard is the same almost, except that it is moving.

You can find it in it’s various forms.  You can see it in San Diego truck advertising, or vehicles built specifically to carry billboards around.

Why are people using this form of medium to get their message or brand across?  I have some unique insights I am going to share that I have gained from running my own mobile billboards San Diego company.

First off, let’s talk about it’s expenses.  Mobile billboards prices are actually very comparable if not better than your traditional outdoor media such as traditional billboards.

With its rates being very cheap comparably if not better, there is something else that tilts it in it’s favor.Actual views, exposures, or impressions to the prospects.

Compared to the usual billboards out there, that a prospect could just pass it by without even looking.  But the way a mobile billboard displays it’s message, it is more effective.And the way it is able to do that is by being in the consumer’s face.You can’t just pass it by.It is stuck with you in traffic right at eye level

This is very powerful.A prospect who is caught in traffic with an advertisement staring at them in the face can’t be turned off.

That is one of the obstacles that TV and Radio face as traditional forms of advertising.With the invention of satellite radio and Tivo, a prospect could practically go without commercials.

So opting to go with mobile billboards gives the advertiser the ability to have their message read and impressed upon the consumer’s mind.

If you want to build brand recognition as a business, there aren’t too many better ways to display your ad than by showing it in beautiful color as a full color display ad.It speaks loudly for attention.And when your prospect doesn’t have anything else to do in traffic, you really don’t need to scream as loud as other forms of advertising.

With a lot of businesses struggling because of the economy, using mobile ads might be just the trick they need to save their business.More customers and more leads are going to come based on this form of advertising. 

You are guaranteed exposure.You are pretty much guaranteed to getting your message read and heard.What else could an advertiser want.

You can see that it is working by the sheer number of many more businesses using it to advertise.In 2004 by itself, there was more than $5.8 billion spent on this form of advertsing.  With all that money being spent, it must be working.

So for many businesses looking for more ways to find customers, this might just be what they are looking for.

The benefits of Mobile Billoards for Your Business

First of all we need to define what mobile billboards are.I am pretty certain that you are aware of what traditional billboards are.Well mobile billboards are simply billboards on wheels.  But the main difference is it has many advantages that traditional billboards don’t have.  I know this first hand from my experience running my own mobile Billboards San Diego company.

Mobile billboards are advertisements placed on either a trailer or it can be seen like what our company uses with truck advertising San Diego.  That is ads on sides of commercial trucks.

As previously stated, it has a lot of different benefits that are distinct from the usual outdoor media.Those benefits are the fact that it is mobile.With the typical billboard, the consumer usually drives right by the sign and not even take notice.  While a mobile billboard is right there in traffic with the consumer. 

So instead of driving right past it, the mobile billboard is able to drive past the consumer.  This ad is boldly displayed right at eye level.This guarantees that the attention of the consumer will be caught and they will be forced to read the ad.

With a lot of the traditional ways of advertising becoming ineffective, this advertising medium can be of great benefit.It gives your ad a very high exposure to all possible consumers.Your ad has a higher likelihood of getting read because if a customer is in traffic, a nice catchy ad pretty much guarantees that you will get their attention.

This benefits your business greatly.If you objective is to brand your company and get more sales, this can do the job.Compare that with different ad mediums like TV or radio, you will see that your advertising dollar goes further.It is a form of advertising that can’t be turned off and tuned out like TV or radio.  So your advertising dollar goes a long way especially with good mobile billboards rates.

So if creative advertising is needed for your campaigns, mobile advertising might be just the trick.  With the many satisifed advertising clients using my truck advertising, this has proven to be the case time and time again.
